Next, we go up the mountain to the majestic Pico do Arieiro. At 1,818 meters above sea level, you will feel like you are walking on the clouds while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views. The tour continues towards the heart of the island. We stop at the Eira do Serrado observation deck to take in the breathtaking Nun's Valley, a village hidden in a deep valley surrounded by colossal mountains. We then descend to the center of the village, where you will have free time to explore and taste the famous local chestnut-based delicacies and traditional liqueurs. To finish on a high note, we visit Pico dos Barcelos, a fantastic observation deck that offers a complete and photogenic view of the entire bay and the city of Funchal.
