Description

Operated by Madeira 4 Tours, this experience offers 100% private tours in exclusive Suzuki Vitara vehicles. Your guide, Ross, leads the tour in either the open-air Vitara Cabriolet (up to 3 guests) or the eco-friendly Vitara Hybrid (up to 4 guests) at the same price.

The tour starts with a pickup in Funchal. You'll cross extensive banana plantations in the lower valleys, climbing toward Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, one of Madeira’s major vineyard regions. Stops are made to appreciate the agricultural landscape and views.

In Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, there is a 30-minute stop to visit a local church from the 1750s, enjoy small cafés, and experience traditional bars frequented by residents.

Next, you will drive to Cabo Girão, the second-highest sea cliff globally at 589 meters. Here, a 25-minute stop at the Skywalk offers views over the coastline, Funchal, and Câmara de Lobos. Admission to the glass platform is approximately €5.00.

On the descent, the tour visits Câmara de Lobos, a traditional fishing village once painted by Winston Churchill. Guests have 45 minutes to explore the harbor and narrow streets.

The tour concludes with a return to Funchal and drop-off at your hotel or any city center location.
