Description

The tour begins in Câmara de Lobos, a fishing village known for its colorful boats and terraced vineyards, once painted by Winston Churchill. From there, you travel to Ribeira Brava, a historic town named after its “wild river,” featuring the 16th-century São Bento Church and coastal views.

Next, visit Ponta do Sol, Madeira’s sunniest town, with narrow streets, historic architecture, and dramatic cliffs. The journey continues to Paul da Serra, the island’s only plateau, characterized by a windswept, mist-covered landscape contrasting with the coast.

Descend to Porto Moniz to swim in natural lava pools where the Atlantic meets volcanic rock. Along the coast, stop at Ribeira da Janela to see striking basalt columns, then proceed to Seixal, known for its black sand beach and crystal-clear pools surrounded by cliffs.

The tour proceeds through rugged terrain to Cabo Girão Skywalk, situated 580 meters above the Atlantic Sea. The glass platform offers vertiginous views of the ocean and terraced fields below.

The day ends at Henriques & Henriques winery, where you sample Madeira’s renowned wines, concluding the tour.
