Explore tropical gardens, hillside views and Funchal’s Old Town on a private tuk-tuk tour.
I’ll take you through hillside streets and traditional neighbourhoods towards Monte, stopping at Marmeleiros Viewpoint for views over Funchal and a chance to take photos.
At Monte Palace Tropical Garden, enjoy free time to explore on your own. Follow paths through tropical greenery, pause beside lakes and waterfalls, and discover the bridges and stone lanterns of the Oriental gardens. Garden entrance tickets are not included.
After your visit, I’ll take you down to the Old Town. Discover the colourful painted doors around Rua de Santa Maria and pass through the Farmers’ Market area. Along the way, I’ll share stories about the places we pass and everyday life in Madeira.
If you like, we can also stop by the sea at Barreirinha and see Socorro Church. Feel free to ask me for recommendations on restaurants, local specialities and places to explore during the rest of your stay.
