The day starts at the picturesque fishing bay of Câmara de Lobos, which once inspired Winston Churchill, followed by a thrilling walk on Europe’s highest glass skywalk at Cabo Girão, suspended 589 meters above the sea. Next, you will escape the crowds along scenic mountain roads toward the hidden São Sebastião viewpoint overlooking Ribeira Brava. Afterward, enjoy a relaxed break at a cozy hillside bar in O Rochão to experience authentic Madeiran hospitality and taste a traditional, freshly made Poncha. The journey continues deep into the highlands with a 4x4 drive into the mystical Fanal Enchanted Forest. Here, you can take a memorable walk through the UNESCO-protected Laurisilva forest, among centuries-old trees often embraced by a fairytale mist. You will then descend to the dramatic northern coast to Porto Moniz, where you can enjoy an unhurried seaside lunch break and a refreshing swim in the world-famous natural volcanic rock pools. As this is a Private Tour, you can choose between two iconic vehicles for your adventure. The Land Rover offers a highly comfortable, smooth, and cozy ride across all terrains. The UMM is a classic, rigid Portuguese 4x4 that offers less comfort but delivers a completely unique, raw, and authentic offroad experience.
