Description
The tour begins with a mini bus transfer from Funchal to Poiso at 1,412 meters altitude. From there, cycling proceeds comfortably towards Santo da Serra on roads and dirt trails, descending to around 800 meters.
Following the Levada da Serra do Faial towards Portela, the group pauses after approximately 10 kilometers to take in views over the North Coast of Madeira. The route continues along dirt roads towards Fajã dos Rolos, offering views of Machico's Valley.
The final stretch follows the old regional road to Machico, concluding at sea level.
