This guided cycling tour departs from Funchal and is suitable for both beginners and professional cyclists exploring Madeira’s west side.
Description
Starting from our shop in Funchal, we transfer by van to Fonte do Bispo, located at approximately 1241 meters altitude. The route offers an option between dirt and gravel roads or direct single trails. Throughout the ride, enjoy continuous views over Madeira’s west coast and the North Atlantic Ocean.
After covering around 30 kilometers, the tour heads towards the Ponta do Pargo lighthouse, inaugurated in 1922 and positioned on the island’s westernmost cliff at 290 meters altitude.
