Did you know that Madeira has the only extinct butterfly in Europe? The island's remaining rare and special endemic butterflies are among the most endangered in continental Europe.
This tour offers a unique opportunity to observe these species in different locations and habitats, allowing close contact with their diversity and ecological importance. Throughout the experience, you can also contribute to the conservation of these small and fragile animals by recording your observations in the Madeira Butterfly Monitoring Program.
