Begin your day with a drive into the Laurisilva Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its subtropical climate, ancient trees, deep valleys, and cascading waterfalls. This 40-million-year-old forest offers a unique natural setting for exploration.
Next, hike to the summit of Pico do Arieiro, one of Madeira’s highest peaks, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the island. Continue to Miradouro do Guindaste, a viewpoint at Madeira’s northeastern tip overlooking dramatic sea cliffs and the Atlantic Ocean.
