Description
Start with hotel pickup in Funchal and travel to Câmara de Lobos, a traditional fishing village. Continue to Cabo Girão Skywalk, Europe’s highest cliff skywalk at 589 meters.
Drive toward Ribeira Brava, then head north through Canhas to the Paul da Serra plateau. Cross a mountain pass and observe the dramatic north coast where Atlantic waves crash against cliffs.
Visit Porto Moniz, with an hour for lunch and time to view the volcanic swimming pools. Proceed to Seixal to see the Bridal Veil waterfall, then continue to São Vicente before returning to Funchal.
