The tour begins in Câmara de Lobos, a traditional fishing village that inspired Sir Winston Churchill’s 1950 paintings. Explore its colorful harbor and narrow streets reflecting Madeira’s fishing heritage.

Next, visit the Cabo Girão Skywalk, perched around 580 meters above the Atlantic Ocean. Step onto the glass platform to view terraced vineyards and the coastline below.

Travel along the west coast through terraced slopes and vineyards where Madeira’s famous wine is produced, stopping briefly in Ribeira Brava, a peaceful coastal town framed by sea and mountains.

Ascend to the Encumeada Viewpoint, at over 1,000 meters elevation, where you can see both the north and south coasts of Madeira simultaneously.

The tour continues across Paúl da Serra, the island’s largest plateau, with open landscapes contrasting Madeira’s lush coastal valleys.

Enjoy lunch in Porto Moniz, known for its natural volcanic swimming pools carved from lava rock, where ocean and volcanic formations meet.

In the afternoon, follow the northern coastline through Seixal, noted for waterfalls cascading directly into the Atlantic, before concluding in São Vicente, a town nestled between mountains and valleys.
