Tour Description
Depart from Funchal Marina at least 20 minutes before the scheduled departure to meet the crew and receive a safety briefing. Board a luxury catamaran with comfortable indoor seating and outdoor sun beds including trampoline nets.
As you sail away, observe marine life such as dolphins and whales commonly found in Funchal’s waters. The crew provides expert commentary about the ocean species encountered during the trip.
The catamaran sails to the towering cliffs of Cabo Girão, 580 meters (1,902 feet) above sea level, where the boat anchors for a snorkeling or swimming stop in clear Atlantic waters. Note that during July and August, only afternoon tours include a swimming break.
After the swim, enjoy a relaxed cruise back to Funchal Marina along the coastline with scenic views of Madeira’s landscapes. The tour ends with a prompt disembarking for your convenience.

- 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM (2.5 hours): No swimming stop included
- 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM (3 hours): Includes a 20-minute swimming break
- 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM (3 hours): Includes a 20-minute swimming break
Please select your preferred departure time carefully if you want to swim, as only the 12:00 PM and 3:30 PM tours offer a swimming stop.
