Description
Dive in Madeira’s marine protected Garajau Park, protected for over 35 years, known for abundant fish life and large Dusky Groupers. These curious groupers feel safe here, offering a high chance to observe them closely. Bringing an underwater camera is recommended to capture memorable sights.
Your dive day includes gear preparation and checks after completing administrative tasks, a thorough dive briefing from your guide, a short swim to the boat, and a 10-15 minute boat ride east to the dive site. After diving at Garajau, you will return to the dive center to return equipment and enjoy a hot shower. Logbook stamps are provided.
This activity requires certified divers who have logged 10+ dives and dived within the last 12 months. If you do not meet these requirements, an easy shore dive option is available before joining boat dives to ensure safety and a pleasant experience.
