Description

Once aboard your charismatic tuk tuk, you will begin exploring the 15th-century Old Town of Funcha. Discover the doors and walls painted by local artists, as you ride through the narrow streets to Vila Guida. Relax at wonderful viewpoints without the noise of the city, before traveling to the city center to see the statue of Gonçalves Zarco, Town Hall, the cathedral, and other historical buildings. You'll also explore the Mercado dos Lavradores, which is a local farmer's market. Riding up to the hill you will enjoy the views before reaching the Fortress of São João Batista of Pico. The magnificent panoramic views of the city will make for the best introduction for your knowledge of Funchal.
