Your host provides trail instructions, a map, and a schedule before you start your 5-hour trek covering 10 kilometers from Pico do Arieiro, passing Pico Ruivo (1,862 m), then finishing at Achada do Teixeira (1,600 m). After the hike, you are picked up at Achada do Teixeira parking lot for return transfer.
