Board the boat in Funchal harbor for a nature-focused trip along Madeira’s coastline. The journey includes preparation, safety briefing, and donning lifejackets before setting out into the open ocean.
Wildlife sightings depend on patience and luck, but the tour has a 99% success rate for spotting at least one cetacean species, including dolphins, whales, and sometimes turtles.
The optional 'Swim with Dolphins' add-on (€20) allows guests to snorkel briefly alongside common or Atlantic spotted dolphins if animal behavior and local protection laws permit. Masks and snorkels are provided, and water time is usually 1-2 minutes per participant. The charge for this option is applied only if the swim occurs.
The boat trip lasts at least two hours before returning to Funchal marina. If no cetaceans are sighted, you are entitled to join another tour free of charge within one year, subject to availability and non-transferable.
Private tours can accommodate up to 18 passengers, suitable for families or groups seeking privacy.
