The day begins with a coffee break en route to Casa das Queimadas, where your guide will outline the day’s plan.
Hike the Levada Caldeirão Verde trail, passing through tunnels and lush laurissilva forest to reach the Caldeirão Verde waterfall. This route offers access to remote waterfalls and pristine landscapes.
At Caldeirão Verde, enjoy a picnic featuring local snacks before returning along the trail to Casa das Queimadas.
After the hike, visit a traditional Madeira house in Santana to learn about local heritage.
The tour concludes with a stop at a local bar to sample Poncha, Madeira’s traditional drink.
