Porto Santo, known as the 'golden island,' offers more than its long sandy beaches. Beneath the surface, a temperate, clear sea reveals vibrant natural reefs and rock formations.

These underwater habitats shelter octopuses, seabream, groupers, moray eels, and rays gliding across the sand. Advanced certified divers can explore the “Madeirense,” a sunken cargo vessel at about 30 meters deep. This artificial reef teems with diverse marine life, providing a unique dive experience.
