With this tour, you decide which areas and attractions to visit. Options include Funchal city, the fishing village of Câmara de Lobos, Cabo Girão sea cliffs, Fajã dos Padres, Monte village, Garajau cliffs, the Botanical Garden, and the mountain views in Nuns Valley.
Explore Funchal’s historic sites, such as the Sé Cathedral, or visit Nuns Valley for scenic mountain landscapes. The west coast offers Câmara de Lobos, a traditional fishing village. Cabo Girão features a glass skywalk at its highest point with views over the south coast. Nearby, Fajã dos Padres is accessible only by cable car or boat and offers a unique seaside experience.
The route to Cabo Girão and Fajã dos Padres passes along winding roads with changing scenery. On the return from the west coast, you may stop at the natural swimming pools of Doca do Cavacas.
At Garajau, on the eastern bay of Funchal, you can see the Christ the Redeemer statue, older than the one in Brazil, overlooking clear waters. The Botanical Garden is another possible stop. Your guide will assist you throughout the tour.
