Description

Discover the charm of Eastern and Southern Madeira on a private tour of about 8 hours, ideal for those who want to see the most emblematic and authentic places on the island, away from the big cities and in complete comfort. The adventure begins at the Miradouro do Pináculo, with an incredible view over Funchal. Next is the iconic statue of Cristo Rei, one of the most photographed spots on the island, and the charming village of Santa Cruz. We continue to Machico, a historic site where Portuguese navigators first arrived in Madeira. The trip takes us to the easternmost point of the island, Ponta de São Lourenço, known for its dramatic cliffs and unique landscapes. We continue to the Guindaste Viewpoint, where you can feel like you are walking on the sea with a glass viewpoint, continuing on to the picturesque town of Santana, famous for its traditional triangular houses with thatched roofs. We also visit Fortim do Faial, one of the best spots for photographing the north coast, and head towards Pico Ruivo, the highest point on the island. We end at the stunning Miradouro da Eira do Serrado viewpoint, overlooking Curral das Freiras. This private tour offers total flexibility: you can decide where you want to stop for longer, take photos, go on short walks, or relax with a typical meal. Everything is at your own pace, with the comfort of a Mercedes vehicle and a dedicated local guide.
