Description
The tour begins at Guindaste Viewpoint with the island's rugged landscape from a mini skywalk, perfect for photography.
Next, descend by cable car into the UNESCO-protected Rocha do Navio valley, featuring rich flora and waterfalls with fewer visitors than other coastal spots.
On the way to Santana, stop at Miradouro das Cabanas viewpoint overlooking Arco de São Jorge. Explore the historic Ruinas de São Jorge, known as the 'door to the sea.'
In Santana, visit Sr. Manuel’s house for insight into Madeira’s local heritage. There is time for lunch either at local restaurants or strolling through the town center.
Travel through the lush Faial Valley in a comfortable electric van to Miradouro São Lourenço at Madeira’s easternmost point, offering views of cliffs and the Atlantic coastline.
The final stop is in Machico, where Madeira was first discovered in 1419. Enjoy a local Poncha drink while reflecting on the day.
