Begin your tour with a scenic drive through Funchal’s tourist district, transitioning to lush banana plantations and ocean views. At 580 meters high, Cabo Girão features one of the world’s tallest sea cliffs with a glass skywalk offering direct views of the coastline and beach below.

Continue west towards Fajã dos Padres, located beneath a 250-meter cliff. This area has a distinct microclimate that supports exotic fruit cultivation and terraces. Optionally, take a cable car down to explore this coastal enclave more closely.

The return route includes a stop in Câmara de Lobos, a traditional fishing village known for colorful boats and links to Winston Churchill. Walk through the village, learn about its heritage, and try local drinks like poncha or niquita.
