Description

This adrenaline-themed 4x4 Jeep tour takes you through Madeira’s most exhilarating landscapes — a Full Day experience designed for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to experience one of the island’s newest and most exciting attractions in Porto Moniz. Please note that the Zipline and Giant Swing experience is not included in the base tour price and carries an additional cost, based on your chosen activity. We will make a stop at Adrenaline X-treme Adventures, where you will have the opportunity to try the Giant Swing or the Zipline. Payment for these activities is made directly to them, It is not necessary to purchase a ticket before the tour; the purchase is made at the activity location on the day of the tour. Feel the rush as you fly down a zipline from 320 meters high, reaching speeds of up to 110km/h — one of the highest in Europe. Or, swing out over the cliffs on a giant swing, 20 meters in the air with a breathtaking 250 meter drop below you. Special Note: In the event these activities are closed due to weather conditions, we offer an alternative experience at no extra cost: a scenic detour along the old Encumeada road, featuring an additional stop at one of its iconic viewpoints. Ready to take on the challenge? Your adventure begins at the Cabo Girᾶo Skywalk, one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe, towering approximately 580 meters above the Atlantic Ocean. Next, we journey north through the scenic Serra de Água valley, making our way to the picturesque village of Seixal. Discover the unique black sand beach, framed by lush green mountains and dramatic cliffs. Sink your feet into the soft black volcanic sand and enjoy a refreshing swim. From there, we continue west towards Porto Moniz, known for its natural lava pools carved by ancient volcanic activity. These crystal-clear, saltwater lagoons surrounded by rugged basalt rock, offer the opportunity to take a revitalizing swim or to simply admire the raw beauty of Madeira’s volcanic coastline. Next, we head to Ribeira da Janela: the pulse of adrenaline for this tour. You will encounter impressive rock formations shaped by centuries of wind and sea, and embrace Madeira’s latest adrenaline attraction: a cliffside zipline and swing experience that redefines adventure on the island. Soar across the zipline at exhilarating speeds and feel the rush as you swing suspended hundreds of meters above the ocean. A fully certified team, professional safety equipment, and experienced guides guarantee an exciting yet safe experience. The final stop is in Ponta do Sol; widely known as Madeira’s sunniest town. This charming coastal village invites you to slow down after a day filled with excitement. Founded in the 15th century, Ponta do Sol played a key role in Madeira’s development as one of the island’s oldest settlements, known for its rich agricultural heritage — especially sugarcane and banana plantations, and its vibrant fishing community.
