The tour starts along Madeira’s warm southwest coast, beginning at Calheta Beach, one of the island’s few golden-sand beaches. This spot offers excellent photo opportunities and sweeping ocean views.
Next, the route passes through Madeira’s main banana-growing region. In Madalena do Mar, you will walk the Banana Route and visit a working plantation with coastal and mountain views.
At Ponta do Sol, spend time wandering the narrow streets, admire colorful buildings, and relax at a local café while enjoying the seaside atmosphere.
The final stop is Ribeira Brava, where you can visit the farmers’ market to sample fresh tropical fruits and meet local vendors.
