Description
This tour starts with a shared transfer around 6:00 AM (exact time confirmed the day before via WhatsApp) to Pico do Arieiro to watch the sunrise. From there, hike the 7 km trail towards Pico Ruivo with varied mountain terrain and rugged landscapes. The route is moderately challenging, covering rocky paths and some steep sections, taking approximately 4 hours. The hike finishes at Achada do Teixeira, where your return shuttle will be waiting to take you back to your accommodation around 1:00 PM.

- All non-resident hikers must pay the mandatory PR1 trail access fee via the official SIMplifica platform: simplifica.madeira.gov.pt.
- You must select a trail access slot at 8:00 AM or 8:30 AM. Later time slots may cause delays at the checkpoint and risk missing your return shuttle.
