Begin your evening with a traditional dinner at Abrigo do Pastor, where you’ll savor authentic flavors of the mountains. After dinner, head to Pico do Arieiro, standing over 1,800 meters above sea level. With luck, you may see the sunset and enjoy a stargazing experience like the one shown in the photos, in a serene and unique setting.
Stay warm with thermal blankets and enjoy hot chocolate as you marvel at the night sky. Capture the moment with night photography, find the planets in the galaxy.
On the way down, sip on traditional Madeiran poncha or Nikita and stop at another viewpoint (depending on which direction we take) to see Funchal from a high altitude, rounding off a perfect night for couples, families, and nature lovers.
