The activity begins at the small pebble beach in Paul do Mar with a brief mindfulness talk and a breathing exercise by the sea. Each child searches for a small lucky stone to paint later. The group then explores secret paths through banana plantations where the guide shares insights on banana cultivation and answers questions.
Participants may see flowing water in the levadas and experience less maintained paths with occasional cross-country walking. The route is quiet, with occasional encounters with local plantation workers or friendly dogs.
The walk ends at a rest area to taste fresh Madeiran bananas before painting the collected lucky stones, creating a personal souvenir to take home.
