Description
After collection in a nine-seater Portuguese UMM vehicle, the tour begins at Cannon Miradouro. The trail showcases years of landscape stabilization and reforestation efforts in a once desolate area. Water erosion has exposed volcanic formations shaping the hillsides in this dynamic environment.
The walk includes steady climbs, flat paths, wooded areas, and open fields. Views change continuously along the circular route, providing varied perspectives of this volcanic island. The path is generally quiet, with few other walkers aside from local birds.
