Description
Starting from Funchal, the tour visits Câmara de Lobos, a traditional fishing village known for its colorful wooden boats. Next, travel to Cabo Girão, Europe’s highest sea cliff at 580 meters, featuring a suspended glass viewpoint (entry included).
Stop at São Sebastião Viewpoint for panoramic views of Madeira’s west coast and the town of Ribeira Brava. Continue north to São Vicente, home to Madeira’s most famous surf spot and two notable waterfalls: Água d'Alto and Véu da Noiva, named for its veil-like appearance.
Visit Seixal beach, a stretch of black sand beneath dramatic mountain ridges and waterfalls. Nearby are the Seixal Natural Pools, volcanic rock tidal pools filled with crystal-clear seawater, ideal for photography and swimming.
In the Ribeira da Janela parish, see the famous islets formed by impressive rock formations marking the coastline. The tour concludes at Porto Moniz with time to swim or snorkel in the natural volcanic pools, which are filled with seawater through natural lava formations.
