Description
Experience the thrill of riding a Vespa through Madeira’s varied scenery, from the green valleys of Serra de Água to Porto Moniz’s volcanic coast. The route passes through ancient laurel forests, mountain passes, and coastal villages.
Start in Serra de Água, a peaceful area with terraced hills and traditional taverns. Then, ascend to Encumeada Pass, over 1000 meters high, offering panoramic views of both the north and south coasts.
Descend into São Vicente, a village nestled between mountains and sea. From there, ride the coastal road to Seixal, carved into cliffs overlooking the ocean. In Seixal, stop to swim in natural volcanic rock pools and visit the black sand beach.
The tour ends in Porto Moniz, where you can relax with a swim in the famous lava pools formed by volcanic rock.
