The adventure begins even before dawn. After transportation to Pico do Arieiro, at 1,818 meters above sea level, you'll have the opportunity to witness the unique spectacle of the sunrise over a true “sea of clouds.”
As the first rays of sunlight illuminate the mountains, golden hues transform the landscape into a truly magical scene, creating an unforgettable moment that's perfect for photographs.
After sunrise, discover one of Madeira's most impressive landscapes on a hike along the famous PR1 trail.
On the hike, you'll enjoy incredible panoramic views of the island's peaks and valleys. The perfect experience for anyone who wants to discover the beauty of Madeira's mountains and enjoy an unforgettable adventure in nature.
As you descend, you'll come to PR3 Vereda do Burro, where you can explore a trail surrounded by nature, lush vegetation and breathtaking scenery, and enjoy a peaceful experience.
At the end of the hiking tour, you can enjoy a wonderful dining experience at the 'Forest Food & Coffee' restaurant.
The driver will be waiting for you at 'Casa Rosa' - Ecological Park
The activity lasts 5 hours, not including the round-trip travel time.
