The first stop of the journey is the charming fishing village of Câmara de Lobos, where you can stroll along the picturesque bay filled with colorful traditional boats and see the famous spot that once inspired Sir Winston Churchill's paintings. Next, you will ascend to the dramatic Cabo Girão viewpoint to stand on Europe’s highest glass skywalk, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline suspended 589 meters above the sea. From there, the true adventure kicks in as you head off the beaten path for a thrilling 4x4 off-road climb through rugged mountain trails, leading to the hidden São Sebastião viewpoint that overlooks the lush valleys of Ribeira Brava. After this exciting drive, you will cruise along the coast and head up the hillside to a cozy local bar in O Rochão, providing a perfect break to soak in the authentic Madeiran hospitality and optionally try a traditional, freshly made Poncha. The journey continues deep into the mountains to enter the magical world of the Fanal Enchanted Forest. Here, you will take a memorable walk through the UNESCO-protected Laurisilva forest, surrounded by centuries-old laurel trees often shrouded in a mystical fairytale mist. Next, you will descend to the dramatic northern coast to visit Porto Moniz, a volcanic paradise where you can take a refreshing swim in the famous natural lava rock pools and enjoy a relaxed seaside lunch break featuring fresh local cuisine. Following lunch, your private 4x4 experience brings you to Seixal for a photo stop at the volcanic black sand beachs. Just a short drive away, you will stop at the iconic Véu da Noiva ('Bride's Veil') viewpoint to marvel at the elegant waterfall cascading directly down the cliffside into the Atlantic Ocean.
