We pick up our customers in Porto da Cruz in the morning, at 09:30 am or 11:15 am, ensuring they start their day of adventure on the right foot. As we transport them to Achada do Teixeira, a starting point for the PR 1 and PR 1.2 trails leading to the majestic Pico do Areeiro, they can relax and enjoy the scenic drive, soaking in the beauty of Madeira's landscape. Alternatively, if they prefer a different adventure, we also provide transfers to the PR 9 Levada do Caldeirão Verde, offering a lush and enchanting hiking experience. Once they arrive, they'll embark on a self-guided hike with breathtaking views. This offer includes a return from Pico do Areeiro back to Porto da Cruz, with a pick-up time at 17:30, allowing our customers to tailor their pace and adventure to their preferences Or (depending on which trail was completed) from Levada do Caldeirão Verde, once the activity ends, back to Porto da Cruz. • Children below 12 years old or with less than 1,35m are not allowed Precise pickup time will be confirmed the day before or in the morning prior to the departure. Wear comfortable shoes and bring rain gear. Bring your own food and drinks. Keep in mind this is a self-guided hike. Occasionally the path may be slippery so proper shoes are recommended. The government now charges 3€ to enter specific hikes. You can either pay by card or with cash at the location or buy it beforehand.
