Description
Depending on the day’s swell and wind, meet your instructor at either Praia da Alagoa in Porto da Cruz or Praia das Talhadas / Praia de São Roque in Machico. The exact location is confirmed the evening before via WhatsApp to ensure the best surfing conditions.
Begin with a beach briefing covering safety, ocean awareness, wave reading, and the 'pop-up' technique. Then spend 1.5 hours in the water receiving guidance from a certified instructor to catch as many waves as possible.
This lesson caters to absolute beginners and intermediates aged 8 and above. Groups have a maximum of 8 students per instructor for personalized coaching. Instruction is available in English, Portuguese, Polish, Spanish, Italian, German, or French.
After your lesson, enjoy a traditional poncha drink at a nearby beach bar.
