Next, visit Véu da Noiva, one of Madeira’s best-known viewpoints. From here, admire the waterfall dropping down the cliff towards the Atlantic Ocean.
Continue to Seixal, famous for its green mountains, steep cliffs, and black sand beach. Enjoy a short panoramic stop before continuing towards Porto Moniz.
In Porto Moniz, take some time to walk by the seafront and see the famous natural volcanic pools. The area offers beautiful ocean views and is one of the most popular places on the west side of Madeira.
After Porto Moniz, head into the mountains towards Fanal Forest. Known for its ancient laurel trees and peaceful atmosphere, Fanal feels completely different from the coast. Depending on the weather, you may find sunshine, clouds, or mist between the trees.
