Description

Starting our tour with amazing views over Funchal´s Bay , we drive uphill to Boca dos Namorados at nearly 1000 mts high above sea level , where we will be able to admire the view over the famous village of Curral das Freiras (Nun's Valley) . From there , we’ll drive off road 4x4 Open Roof to Jardim da Serra, a place known for cherry production . In this village , we will have a quick stop in a typical Madeiran bar in a way to support the local community and economy . There you can buy coffee , tea or the very traditional drink Poncha (freshly made) . We will continue towards Cabo Girão, the highest cliff in Europe and second in the world with 580 mts , better known for its renovated viewpoint with suspended glass floor. Later , we finish our tour visiting Henriques & Henriques a Madeira wine lodge company , where our guests will have the opportunity to taste the famous Madeira wine (Sweet / Medium Sweet / Dry / Medium Dry) (included). After the Jeep tour, our guests will be dropped off at Funchal’s Harbor to start the Dolphin Watching Trip. Come on board the Catamaran for a relaxing trip along the south coast of Madeira. The boat trip takes 3 hours with strong possibilities of watching Dolphins in their natural habitat. During the trip, the crew will give you detailed information about the cetacean species that you are able to see.In the summer months there is the possibility of swimming below Cabo Girao cliff. This trip ends in Funchal’s Harbor.
