Description of All Stops
Cabo Girão
Our adventure begins at Cabo Girão, the magnificent 580m-high glass-floored balcony viewpoint. Famous as the highest sea cliff in Europe and the second highest in the world, it offers breathtaking panoramic views over the ocean and terraced hillsides.
Ribeira Brava
Following the scenic coastal road, we arrive in the picturesque village of Ribeira Brava. Here you can visit the 15th-century church, stroll through its charming streets, and soak in the authentic Madeiran atmosphere.
Madalena do Mar
Next, we stop at Madalena do Mar, a tranquil seaside village nestled among extensive banana plantations. This peaceful location offers a glimpse into one of Madeira’s most traditional agricultural landscapes.
Fonte do Bispo
Climbing to altitudes between 1,300 and 1,500 meters, we reach Paúl da Serra, Madeira’s majestic high plateau. From the Fonte do Bispo viewpoint, you can admire the stunning vistas and discover the starting points of several levada walks that cross the UNESCO-listed Laurissilva Forest.
Porto Moniz
We pause for lunch and free time in the charming coastal town of Porto Moniz, world-famous for its vast volcanic natural pools. The descent into town reveals spectacular views of the pools in their entirety. Weather permitting, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a refreshing swim in these unique formations. (Approx. 1h30–2h stop).
Seixal
Continuing along the dramatic north coast, we make a short stop in Seixal. Along the way, you’ll pass cascading waterfalls, including the iconic Bridal Veil waterfall, a breathtaking natural masterpiece shaped by wind and rain over millions of years.

Our journey continues to the picturesque village of São Vicente. Nestled in a lush green valley, it is home to a charming 17th-century church and offers a tranquil glimpse of Madeira’s traditional life.
