Enjoy this small group tour starting begin your journey with a visit to the Pico dos Barcelos viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of Funchal Bay and the Desertas Islands from 355 meters above sea level. Continue to the Cabo Girão viewpoint, a nearly vertical promontory on Madeira's south coast, standing at 580 meters.
Next, head to São Vicente, passing through the stunning landscapes of Ribeira Brava and Serra d'Água. Stop at the Água d'Alto waterfall, one of Madeira's tallest at 150 meters, and admire its majestic beauty.
Make a stop at the iconic Véu da Noiva waterfall, located on the old road between São Vicente and Seixal. Enjoy the stunning mountain views from the Véu da Noiva viewpoint.
Continue to Seixal Beach, recognized as one of Europe's best beaches in 2022 by European Best Destinations. Admire its natural beauty, black sand, waterfalls, and surrounding cliffs. Walk along the beach and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Make a brief stop at the Ribeira da Janela islet, known for its impressive rock formations and stunning ocean views. Then, head to Porto Moniz for a lunch break (not included), famous for its beautiful natural volcanic pools.
After lunch, stop at a viewpoint in Ribeira da Janela to admire the stunning views of the coast and the village of Seixal. Finally, visit the magical Laurissilva Forest, located on the Paul da Serra plateau, known for its iconic moss-covered twisted trees. This subtropical ecosystem is considered a 'living monument' and a relic of the Tertiary Period, consisting mainly of endemic Macaronesian species, with a focus on the Lauraceae family. It covers about 15,000 hectares and is classified as a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site.
