Description
Discover Madeira like a local on this two-day adventure that unveils the island’s true essence — where the wild West meets the cultural East. Led by a passionate local guide, you’ll hear stories, taste traditions, and explore hidden gems that most visitors never find.
Day 1: Wild Wonders of the West.
Your journey begins at Cabo Girão, one of Europe’s highest sea cliffs, offering breathtaking views that stretch far across the Atlantic.
Continue through Paul da Serra and the mystical Fanal Forest, where mist drifts among ancient laurel trees and time seems to slow down.
Relax at Ribeira da Janela and Porto Moniz, famous for their natural volcanic pools — perfect for a refreshing swim or peaceful break.
We’ll also stop at Seixal Beach, Véu da Noiva, and Cascata do Alto, ideal spots for photos and quiet moments surrounded by nature.
Day 2: The Fascinating East of Madeira.
Day two is all about culture, flavors, and traditions. Start at Pico do Arieiro, Madeira’s third-highest peak, with spectacular views above the clouds.
Walk through Ribeiro Frio and Guindaste Viewpoint, where short trails reveal lush greenery and calm mountain air.
In Santana, see the island’s iconic thatched houses and enjoy tastings of local liqueurs and sweet broas.
Then head to the Northern Sugarcane Mills, where you’ll sample artisanal rum and the famous honey cake — flavors that capture the spirit of Madeira.
We’ll finish at Ponta de São Lourenço, where the deep blue Atlantic meets dramatic cliffs and unforgettable coastal views.
