This full-day jeep tour takes you on an unforgettable adventure through the diverse terrain of Madeira's western region. Starting with a pickup in Funchal, we head to the charming village of Ponta do Sol, known for its sunny climate and picturesque harbor. Get ready for a thrilling off-road experience as we venture into the heart of the island. We'll climb Paul da Serra, Madeira's largest plateau, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Next, we head to Fanal, an ancient laurel forest shrouded in fog and mystery. Here, you will have the option of embarking on a short levada ride, immersing yourself in the tranquillity of this enchanting natural wonder. Our journey continues to Ribeira da Janela, a dramatic coastal area with imposing cliffs and crashing waves. Admire the raw beauty of this untamed landscape before arriving in Porto Moniz, a charming coastal town famous for its natural volcanic pools. Enjoy a 2-hour lunch break (not included in the tour price) to taste the delicious local cuisine and explore the town at your own pace. After lunch, we head south, passing through São Vicente, a charming village nestled in a valley, before arriving at Cabo Girão, one of the highest cliffs in Europe. Marvel at the breathtaking views from this dramatic viewpoint before returning to Funchal.
