Description

The experience kicks off with a departure from the port of Ponta Delgada towards the islet of São Roque, a small natural gem along the coast of São Miguel. During the trip, you'll be invited to enjoy the coastal landscape and learn about the fauna and flora of this area, especially seabirds, endemic plant species, and the diversity of underwater life. Once you arrive at the islet, you'll get a detailed presentation about the surrounding ecosystems, followed by the option to go snorkeling for about an hour, allowing you to observe schools of fish, sea urchins, octopuses, and other marine life up close. After this underwater adventure, the boat heads south, where you can spot birds in flight and, hopefully, different species of marine life. The tour ends with a return to Ponta Delgada, bringing with it moments of discovery and direct contact with nature.
